Juvenile fish release program under revenue budget 2024-25

In the fiscal year 2024-25, the Department of Fisheries had allocated 1,70,000/- (Taka one lakh and seventy thousand only) for the release of juvenile fish in natural reservoirs/floodplains/institutional reservoirs in Kalmakanda upazila of Netrakona district . Accordingly, in the RFQ (Request for Quotation) process, a total of 450 kg of native fish fry (Rohu, Catla, Migral and Kalibaush) were released in 1 natural reservoir and 5 institutional reservoirs of Kalmakanda Upazila.
